Russian Music

Gothic scene in Russia is in the stage of origination, it certainly exists, but it's rather amorphous and small yet. We are interested in information about any Russian gothic / darkwave / ethereal projects and if you play in Russian gothic band or just know any Russian gothic bands not mentioned in this section - write us immediately.

For a long time, the existence of band's CD/demo recordings was the condition of putting the information about them on our page. Unfortunately, not all the bands strive to record a demo/CD, that's why we softened the conditions a little bit. Now, it's enough for only some of the gothic.ru members to get acquainted with the band's music (by means of live concert or couple of tracks on tape at any rate). We are to decide whether to put the information about the band on our page or not, no matter if the band members consider their music to be "gothic".

We think that our CD compilation will be interesting to those who are concerned about Russian gothic scene and in case of its success Russian Gothic Page will continue working on CD releasing. The mark near the track name indicates that given composition is available in MP3 format. Unfortunately, some compositions were mastered from cassette tapes therefore their quality is far from the best.
